Are you a non-Belgian domiciled in Ghent and are you leaving Belgium temporarily or permanently? Use this form to register your departure.
  • Register your departure no more than 7 days in advance.
  • If you are uncertain if you will return to Belgium then you can register a temporary departure.
    When you register a temporary departure, your residence card will remain valid. When you register a permanent departure, your residence card will be cancelled.
  • Do you have an annex 3, an annex 3ter, or an annex 33? Then you are not domiciled in Ghent. You do NOT need to register your departure.
  • Do you have the Belgian nationality? Then you need to use another form to register your departure.
